Our client in Redditch, Worcestershire is seeking HGV Class 2 drivers for a Temp Perm position in the distribution of fresh produce.
The role involves delivering to small high street outlets within a 75-mile radius, with an average of 5-7 drops per day.
Candidates should have a minimum of 6 months experience driving a Class 2 vehicle, although new pass drivers will be considered.
The pay rate ranges from £16 to £17 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay.
Working hours are 5 out of 6 days per week, with start times around 05:30 and occasional schedule adjustments.

HGV CLASS 2 DRIVERS

Temp Perm

Our client based in Redditch Worcestershire are a market leader in the distribution of Fresh Produce.

We are recruiting for HGV Class 2 drivers to start ASAP on a Temp Perm basis.

Duties

Delivering to Small High Street outlets across a 75 mile radius of starting location.

Assisting with loading the vehicle.

Loading and unloading trollies at points of delivery and collection.

Following organised run sheets

Regular recording of fridge temperatures

Represent our client in a professional manner at all times

On average 5-7 drops a day within a close proximity of each other.

Daily Vehicle checks

As a HGVC Class 2 driver working for our client you must have:

Friendly and well presented

A flexible working attitude

Flexible availability

HGV Class 2 entitlement

In date CPC and Tacho

Good communication skills both written and verbal

Ideally minimum 6 months experience driving a class 2 vehicle (although NEW Pass drivers will be considered)

Hours of Work:

5 out 6 days per week across Monday Saturday with 2 days off per week.

Start times between 05:30 daily with occasional amendments due to location of deliveries

Rates of Pay

Mon Sat (Days) = £16 -17ph (Rates inclusive of Holiday pay)
