The Role: This is a fantastic opportunity for Business Development Manager to join a Redditch based company that are going from strength to strength. You will be working within a small, friendly team from their modern offices, to build and develop existing client relationships and maximise business potential. You will be responsible for customer quotations and be comfortable managing accounts as well as negotiating with clients to grow new business revenue. This role will require occasional visits to customer sites so candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and have their own vehicle.

The Company: Providing freight forwarding services to UK manufacturers, exporters and importers the business offers an effective service together with a high degree of personal attention to their customers. Due a period of ongoing growth and expansion, they are now looking to add to the sales team with a new Business Development Manager with experience in their industry.

For this Business Development Manager role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

Experience / skills required:ā€¢ Proven B2B sales experience.ā€¢ Freight Industry experience is necessary (any mode - road, air or sea).ā€¢ Comfortable with, and experienced in cold callingā€¢ Excellent customer service levels at all timesā€¢ Strong communication skillsā€¢ Highly organised with good attention to detailā€¢ Can work to deadlines and handle pressureā€¢ Quick thinker & a natural problem solverā€¢ Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player
