CAD Technician Salary:£27,000 - £35,000 Depending On Experience

Orion is partnered with a well-established business located in Redditch which is recruiting for a CAD Technician. The company manufactures electrical panel boards & switchgears so the ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering and have a knowledge of panel boards.

CAD Technician

• The successful applicant will require a sound knowledge of electrical panel boards & switchgears.
• The ideal candidate will have an electrical background and will have worked with and/or designed panel boards.
• Must be able to read, interpret & design CAD schematics from customer specifications.
• Customer liaison
• Experience using AutoCAD '' More training can be provided on site if required.
• CAD experience is key

CAD Technician responsibilities:

• Design panel boards/switchgear using AutoCAD
• Design circuits from scratch
• Modify existing designs
• Customer support/liaison

CAD Technician Competencies

CAD Technician Shifts '' Hybrid role once the initial 6x month settling in period has completed.

Monday '' Friday '' Core hours 08:00 '' 17:00
