As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will play a key role in managing ER cases across the estate and providing outstanding support to the business and key stakeholders.

  • Partner with the business to deliver high-quality, proactive, and SLA-compliant case management on ER issues such as disciplinary, grievance, capability, appeals, and more.
  • Upskill and develop line managers, providing ongoing coaching to support them in reaching positive outcomes with their colleagues.
  • Keep up to date with developments in employment legislation to ensure continuous improvement in the service offered.
  • Manage all cases, calls, and data processed within the team in a highly discreet and confidential manner in line with GDPR regulations.
  • Support the Employee Relations Manager to draft, revise, and review all People-related policies on an ad hoc and biannual basis.

About You:

  • Ideally level 5 CIPD qualified or working toward this from a level 3 CIPD qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years' ER experience in a shared services environment, providing advice and guidance to line managers at all levels.
  • Excellent knowledge of current employment law and experience in handling and managing complex ER cases.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.
  • High level of integrity and trust, with the ability to work within a highly confidential environment.
