IT Project Manager – Redditch- £40,000-£50,000 depending on your skills and experience. We are a forward-thinking company based in Redditch, seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Project Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a variety of IT projects, including the ongoing development and maintenance of our CRM system, website, and other critical business applications. You will play a pivotal role in the strategic direction of IT within the company, ensuring our infrastructure is secure, scalable, and supporting our growth.IT Project Manager Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee IT projects focused on the continuous development and improvement of the company's CRM, website, and database systems. Lead projects from inception through to delivery and ongoing enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with management, internal teams, third-party service providers, and developers to implement and manage IT solutions effectively.
  • IT Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimise our IT infrastructure to ensure its performance, security, and scalability are top-notch.
  • Cloud Server Management: Manage and support our cloud-based server solutions, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.
  • Database Management: Work closely with our large MySQL database, developing a deep understanding of data structures and ensuring the smooth operation of key business processes.
  • Data Integrity & Security: Maintain data integrity, implementing robust backup and disaster recovery processes to protect our critical data.
  • Third-Party Data Integration: Oversee the integration and reliability of data from third-party providers, ensuring seamless data flow into our systems.
  • Team Management: Provide mentorship and guidance to an IT apprentice or trainee, fostering their development and growth within the team.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive internal IT documentation, including disaster recovery plans, and ensure the team adheres to industry best practices and security standards.
  • User Support & IT Operations: Ensure all workstations, systems, and IT resources are fully operational, enabling employees to perform their tasks effectively and efficiently.
The successful IT Manager will have the following skills and experience:
  • Extensive experience working with large databases, especially MySQL.
  • Proficient in using APIs for system integrations and automation.
  • Basic knowledge of PHP is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Solid experience in managing cloud-based server solutions.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace administration.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity best practices, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Previous leadership experience, mentoring or managing team members is highly desirable.
