Are you an experienced Payroll Specialist looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic HR & Systems implementation project? We are supporting a family-owned manufacturing company based in Redditch, in their search for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join the wider Payroll team on a 12-month contract, possibly longer.

The Role: As Group Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in both processing payroll for approximately 1,000 employees consisting of 11 payrolls and supporting an HR and systems implementation project. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be part of a wider payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across weekly and monthly schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for 1,000 employees, including both weekly and monthly payroll cycles.
  • Support the HR and systems implementation project to streamline payroll and HR functions.
  • Collaborate closely with the payroll team to ensure seamless integration of new systems.
  • Assist with payroll queries, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity throughout the payroll process.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, ideally within a manufacturing or large organisation.
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll and HR systems experience, ideally with ADP is highly desirable.
  • Ability to process high-volume payroll, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Confident working as part of a payroll team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with employees at all levels.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and best practices.
