About the Role:
Are you a proactive, detail-oriented leader with a passion for quality and continuous improvement? An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Quality Control Manager to join our Technical Department. In this pivotal role, you'll work alongside the Technical Manager to coordinate and enhance Quality Control functions, ensuring our products meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and Lead: Support the Technical Manager by overseeing and driving Quality Control functions within the team.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess QC processes, identifying and implementing improvements.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot QC issues, escalating faults when necessary to ensure swift resolutions.
Team Support: Provide leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring workloads are manageable, and deadlines are met.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and quality standards.
Reporting: Maintain accurate quality databases, reports, and documentation.
New Product Development (NPD): Oversee first-stage and final inspections of NPD.
Audits: Conduct product audits, liaise with our China office for factory audits, and raise corrective actions when needed.
Customer & Supplier Relations: Support customer and supplier visits, ensuring excellent communication and prompt issue resolution.
Collaboration: Work closely with Product Development, UK Sales teams, and Area Sales Managers to support quality-related matters.
Travel: Be available to travel to Europe and the Far East when required.
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
Strong communication and leadership skills
Proven problem-solving capabilities
Background in Engineering and Technical services
Electrical qualifications
Experience in Quality Engineering
Familiarity with BS/BS EN Standards
Proficient in PC systems and reporting tools
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Positive, flexible, and enthusiastic attitude
Strong organizational skills and structured working style
Team player with the ability to work independently
Self-starter with a proactive mindset
Desirable:
Clean driving license
Experience working with Far East suppliers
Good interpersonal and presentation skills
