The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join the team at Wyckham Blackwell Ltd based in Redditch.
Your responsibilities will include:
You will be working alongside the Management Accountant, getting involved various accounting duties for the group, as well as being the main point of contact for Finance for WB Timber Innovations Ltd. These duties would include:
-Sales Ledger duties (inc. raising invoices, raising delivery notes, allocating cash, chasing debt, and preparing month end reports)
-Purchase Ledger (inc. raising orders, processing expenses, posting invoices, and preparing payment runs)
-Bank reconciliations (posting journals, cash in and out)
-Posting Petty cash and Credit card journals
-Preparing stock sheets at month end
-Update and chase rebates from Suppliers
-Assist on month end reports
-Other Ad-hoc duties to support the finance team
We are looking for someone with previous finance experience, who has excellent organisational skills, is comfortable with Microsoft Excel/Word and has great communication skills.
Experience of Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Power BI would be advantageous but is not essential. Full training will be provided.
