Tradewind Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a SEN Teacher to join an exceptional team at a special school in Redditch. The role is 4 weeks cover in a KS2 SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) class, to start after Easter 5 days per week.

The school provides specialist support to pupils between the ages of 4 and 19. All pupils that attend the school have additional learning needs from developmental delay to very complex learning and communication needs.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.

Specialisation or experience in Special Education Needs (SEN) is essential.

A deep understanding of various learning difficulties and strategies to support students with SEN.

Strong organisational and time-management skills to effectively plan lessons and monitor student progress.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
