Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer – Electrical QC Inspector for a 3-month contract to support quality assurance and control activities on-site. The role will involve ensuring electrical installations meet inspection and test plan (ITP) and inspection test record (ITR) requirements, signing off on test packs, and supporting reporting functions. The successful candidate will report to the Site Quality Manager and the Regional Manager of Quality within the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect electrical installations in accordance with ITP/ITR requirements.

  • Sign off on ITRs using completions software.

  • Review and approve test packs.

  • Assist Site Quality in reporting to project and management teams.

  • Participate in site meetings to ensure quality standards are maintained.

  • Adhere to all EH&S requirements, site policies, and restrictions at all times.

Requirements:
  • Strong background in Electrical / Instrumentation quality control.

  • NVQ Level 3 / SVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical / Instrumentation.

  • Previous experience in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to work independently.

Software Proficiency:
  • Hexagon Go-Completions

  • OpenText (Training can be provided)

  • Microsoft Office Suite
