As an Electrical Compliance Supervisor/Electrical Maintenance Manager, your primary purpose will be to ensure safety and certification for all electrical works and testing while leading and supporting a team of seven skilled electricians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Assurance: Conduct NICEIC compliance audits on electrical systems, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and door entry systems, ensuring all regulations are adhered to, including accurate documentation.
- Pre-Inspection Duties: Perform pre-inspections to identify required works, order materials, and oversee timely delivery.
- Programme Management: Support the Electrical Manager in delivering the electrical testing programme on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. Ensure appointments are met and work is completed correctly the first time.
- Team Development: Provide training, monthly one-to-ones, appraisals, and personal development plans for your team. Offer ongoing support and guidance for their professional growth and day-to-day challenges
Essential Qualifications:
- City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 or 2330 Parts 2 & 3, or equivalent.
- City & Guilds Electrical NVQ3.
- City & Guilds Latest BS 7671 Qualification.
- Leadership Experience: Proven ability to manage, lead, and develop a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Expertise: Ability to advise staff and contractors on technical repair solutions.
- Driving Licence: A full, clean driving license is essential (transport provided).
