Overview


An industry-leading engineering company that manufactures detection technology is looking for a Materials Coordinator.

The Materials coordinator will be responsible for managing the physical and administrative tasks related to returned service parts and equipment, including receiving, sorting, dispositioning, and maintaining accurate records.


Key Responsibilities


Returns Processing:

  • Receive returns into the spare parts warehouse and inventory system.
  • Unpack and check returns against delivery paperwork, verifying serial/part numbers and RMA details.
  • Sort returns into appropriate categories:
    • Repair (internal and external centers).
    • Quality analysis.
    • Recycling (simple or qualified).
    • Scrap.
  • Disposition returns according to the sorted category and manage associatedworkflows:
    • Process and receive repaired items.
    • Send items for quality analysis, recycling, or scrapping.


Warehouse Operations:

  • Move materials manually or using lifting gear, forklift, or bendi truck.
  • Pick and pack parts for delivery or pickup.
  • Load and occasionally deliver orders.
  • Perform inventory control using scanners or computer systems.


Documentation & Collaboration:

  • Maintain accurate records for returns, repairs, recycling, and scrapping.
  • Work closely with RMA Coordinators, the parts warehouse team, and repair centers.


Candidate Requirements

  • Experience in warehouse/stores environments, including goods inward, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and computerized stock management systems.
  • Methodical and organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented, supporting and assisting colleagues effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook is advantageous.
