We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Advisor to join our client on a full or part time basis.
The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH qualification and experience within the Health and Safety sector. This role is crucial in ensuring the wellbeing of employees and the safe operation of the workplace.
Day-to-day of the role:- Conducting risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
- Providing training and support to staff on health and safety matters.
- Investigating incidents and accidents to identify causes and prevent future occurrences.
- Liaising with external health and safety authorities as required.
- Monitoring workplace practices to ensure they meet high standards of health and safety.
- NEBOSH qualification is essential.
- Proven experience in a Health and Safety role.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train and motivate staff regarding health and safety practices.
- Analytical skills to assess risks and devise preventive strategies.
