Reed HR are looking to recruit an Employee Relations Manager on a 12-month FTC.

*Please note this role is working within the NHS, therefore experience within the NHS is essential *

My client will consider 4 days a week or 5 days a week. Hybrid model.  If you work 4 days, it will be two days on site.  If you work 5 days, it will be three days on site.

Reporting into the Head of People, you will:

•    Review policies and procedures for legal compliance, consistency in content and ease of application.

•    Develop and deliver training packages on ER policy and procedures

•    Working with the Head of Employee Relations, to develop an Employee Relations Strategy 

•    Quality check cases and relevant documentation for consistency in application, and compliance with process and legislation.

•    Take the lead strategic role on specific ER projects, work programmes and initiatives, including HR management in a just and    learning culture, People Strategy, employment law, policy development and Staff Side Partnership working 

•    Oversee development, reporting and administration of ER case management to support effective ER (KPIs) and identify trends from a cultural and/or EDI perspective  •    Work autonomously as an expert, independent and impartial practitioner on complex and highly complex/multifaceted employee relations relevant to staff from all groups and levels within the organization in line with Trust policies and procedures

•    Develop a systems dashboard for the reporting of ER activity and KPIs

•    Lead on the development of Employee Relations Standard Operating Procedures for case management

•    Line management responsibility for Senior ER Advisor, ER Advisor and Associate ER Advisor

•    Oversight of job matching function and devising a job matching policy and procedure/process note 

•    Deputise for the Head of People – Employee Relations on MHPS and ET cases as and when necessary.
