They are seeking a reliable and efficient Laundry Operative / Hospital Porter to support our hospital's daily operations.Role and Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain laundry equipment to ensure the timely cleaning of hospital linens and uniforms.- Sort and prepare linens for washing, drying, ironing, folding, and distribution.- Ensure all laundry processes meet health and safety standards and hospital requirements.- Transport clean linen supplies to various hospital departments in a timely manner.- Assist with the efficient movement of patients, equipment, and supplies throughout the hospital.- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas and laundry facilities.- Provide friendly and courteous service to patients, staff, and visitors.- Ensure compliance with infection control procedures and health and safety regulations.- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless hospital operations.Skills and Qualifications:- Prior experience working in a laundry or hospital environment is preferred.- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift/move heavy items as necessary.- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Basic understanding of health and safety practices related to laundry operations.

Ideally you will have a valid DBS, however this can be applied when starting. We have an immediate start for the right candidate.
