Project Quantity Surveyor

£60,000 - £80,000pa + Car/Allowance

M&E Contractor

South London

I am partnered with a leading and long-standing M&E sub-contractor who are within an £850m group of companies. They have 70% of their order book already secured for 2025 and a great reputation in the industry.

They have a range of projects on right now but are specifically looking for a Project QS to lead a £7m high rise scheme in South London. The project's in its early stages and officially commences in early December to then run for 70 weeks.

Not only that, but the role of Commercial Manager for the company is currently vacant. Therefore, there will be an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to move into that role in the future and report directly into the Managing Director.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project QS to lead this JCT contract from procurement through to final accounts over the next 18 months with a view to moving into a more senior role within the business following on from that.

Experience I am looking for includes:

  • Experience leading construction projects from procurement through to final accounts
  • JCT contract experience is essential
  • M&E experience is desirable
  • Experienced with variation mechanisms, risk, cost reporting
  • The ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Experienced in mentoring juniors is desirable

My client are based on the North Surrey and London border with the project being based in South London.

The role will be on a hybrid model between site, office and home with the successful candidate being able to commute freely between.

This is a live and necessary requirement with a start date available as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor - who is experienced in leading construction projects through to final accounts to lead this project to success and then move into a senior position within the business. The role comes with a good salary plus a car/allowance and good flexibility.
