My client, a leading drylining subcontractor arelooking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Redhill, Surrey. The ideal candidate will have had exposure working on large drylining packages on major projects.
This person will be working alongisde the Operations Manager and reporting into the Commercial Manager.
My client offer a hybrid working scheme, Monday - Thursday from the office and the opportunity to work from home.
Duties:
- As the Quantity Surveyor you will take ownership for the financial and commercial elements of the contract for the project area, and provide accurate advice to the management and operational teams as required.
- Continuously assess, monitor and report on any commercial risks across the project
- Take responsibility for estimating and provide accurate costing to management teams
- Assist the Senior Commercial Manager with a variety of commercial responsibilities
- Conduct final accounting across the works completed by the operational team and assist in obtaining correct payments from the client.
- You will also have direct management for a QS Admin, who you will need to conduct regular performance reviews with, offer support, training and development with and ensure that they have the knowledge to complete all work to a high standard
