Support Technician - 1st & 2nd Line Support (MSP Experience Required)
Are you an experienced Support Technician with a background in managed services? We are partnering with a local company to recruit a Support Technician who will handle both 1st and 2nd line support responsibilities. This role is based on-site in Redhill/Merstham, with parking available.
Role Details:
- Location: On-site in Redhill/Merstham (parking available)
- Core Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- On-Call Requirement: Must be available for 24/7 support on a rotational basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st & 2nd line support to clients.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues via support tickets.
- Escalate complex issues to the 3rd line team as needed.
- Generate and review reports related to systems and services.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the desktop environment for clients.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience with VMware.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in 1st & 2nd line support.
- Strong familiarity with Windows 10 & 11.
- Basic server support knowledge (2019/2022).
- Ability to cover 24/7 on-call support on a rota.
- Prior experience working in an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment.
