Our lovely, well-established client in Redhill is seeing an Associate Energy and Sustainability Analyst to join them. This is a great role for a data-driven, analytical-minded person to a company who is growing and offers development to their staff. This role reports into the Energy and Sustainability Services department (ESS) within UK offices based in Redhill.
The Associate Energy & Sustainability Analyst is responsible for supporting/handling our compliance and client data reporting requirements such that service elements are identified and handled in a professional manner. Working closely with other staff, especially Consultants, Energy Services & Sustainability personnel, the Associate Energy & Sustainability Analyst will support the administration and other client data reporting activities and regular data reporting back to clients for monitoring progress on projects, compliance or data analysis etc., to support the overall service offering to clients.
The role requires communicating with client via email/ teams calls etc.
The candidate will preferably have the following skills:
- Have advanced skills in the use of Excel and be able to handle large data files when required.
- Have a background or interest in Sustainability and Energy Efficiency.
- Be a numerate self-starter, able to work without supervision.
- Have good verbal and written skills and communicate well with clients.
Desirable:
- Have knowledge of the ‘Energy’ market/industry and understand its data outputs.
- Have experience in handling (or supporting) the data gathering and SECR reporting requirements of UK companies.
- Have had experience in handling Scope 1 and 2 GHG data requirements.
While this is predominately a back-office data role, there will be the requirement to join client calls, therefore the candidate will be comfortable joining meetings (face to face or online), as well as being able to present to a number of recipients (on the data work they have completed etc.).
