Vision for Education is currently seeking a Design Technology Teacher to join a secondary school in the Redruth area. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in a dynamic and supportive educational environment.

About the Role

As a Design Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons across a range of year groups. You will work closely with colleagues to develop lesson plans and maintain high teaching standards. This position will commence on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent following a successful trial period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons to secondary school students.

• Support and guide students in developing their technical skills and creativity.

• Collaborate with colleagues to create an engaging and effective learning environment.

• Maintain effective communication with staff and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

Requirements

To be considered for the Design Technology Teacher position, you should:

• Possess a strong understanding of design and technology principles.

• Demonstrate the ability to inspire and motivate students.

• Exhibit a proactive and innovative approach to teaching and continuous professional development.

• Be well-organised, punctual, and adaptable.

• Have a commitment to promoting inclusion and equity in education.

• Previous experience teaching Design Technology at the secondary level is required.
