- Support the learning and development of students with SEND, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of personalized learning activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
- Help to create a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Assist with personal care tasks as required.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure effective support for students.
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND is highly desirable.
- A relevant qualification in education or child care (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equiva-lent) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting children with diverse needs.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
