Accounting Manager – up to £40k – Reigate, Surrey

Our global digital marketing agency is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. Based in Reigate, Surrey, and will report directly to the UK Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and submission of month-end and year-end financial reporting.
  • Preparing and reconciling monthly balance sheets, addressing any reconciliation issues proactively.
  • Managing intercompany entries, preparation, and reconciliation.
  • Completing month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments.
  • Preparing and submitting the UK Group VAT Return.
  • Providing detailed analysis for the P&L and Balance Sheet, explaining variations and relevant transactions.
  • Managing the control of fixed assets and ensuring monthly depreciation is recorded.
  • Conducting Foreign Exchange analysis, entries, and reconciliations.
  • Handling loan financing entries and reconciliations.
  • Supporting the preparation of budgets.
  • Assisting with audit queries and payroll journals.
  • Helping with the transfer pricing and cost allocation process for the Group.

The Person

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is part or fully qualified as an accountant.
  • Has experience with Google Sheets and Excel, including advanced formulas.
  • Is self-motivated and has a strong attention to detail.
  • Can adapt to changing circumstances and work under pressure.
  • Is a positive, flexible team player with high personal standards.
  • Can manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively.
  • Has strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems confidently.
