We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a People Services Team Leader at a leading insurance company based in Retford. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a supportive, inclusive, and fast-paced environment. As a People Services Team Leader, you will be a pivotal part of the Group People Operations function, managing the People Services Associates and driving excellence in customer service to ensure a positive colleague experience across the Group.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee and manage a team responsible for delivering efficient, high-quality transactional services for both applicants and employees.
  • Lead and motivate the team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Drive excellent customer service across all channels, ensuring that queries are triaged, allocated, and resolved promptly and professionally.
  • Organise and coordinate daily tasks for the team, balancing workloads and meeting deadlines across weekly, monthly, and annual activities.
  • Ensure strict adherence to data accuracy and compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes, maximising the use of technology to streamline and enhance team efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the wider People team to meet objectives and deliver exceptional service to all employees.
  • Support the Head of Employee Relations, People Services, and Policy with team performance reviews, absence management, and conducting one-on-one meetings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a customer service-oriented environment with the ability to lead a team.
  • Strong organisational skills, capable of planning, delegating, and prioritising tasks in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all people data and communications.
  • Experience in managing a team.
  • Forward-thinking with the ability to implement process improvements.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification (minimum) is required.
  • Experience of using Workday is desirable.
