As a People Services Team Leader, you will be a pivotal part of the Group People Operations function, managing the People Services Associates and driving excellence in customer service to ensure a positive colleague experience across the Group.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee and manage a team responsible for delivering efficient, high-quality transactional services for both applicants and employees.
- Lead and motivate the team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Drive excellent customer service across all channels, ensuring that queries are triaged, allocated, and resolved promptly and professionally.
- Organise and coordinate daily tasks for the team, balancing workloads and meeting deadlines across weekly, monthly, and annual activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to data accuracy and compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
- Implement continuous improvement processes, maximising the use of technology to streamline and enhance team efficiency.
- Collaborate with the wider People team to meet objectives and deliver exceptional service to all employees.
- Support the Head of Employee Relations, People Services, and Policy with team performance reviews, absence management, and conducting one-on-one meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a customer service-oriented environment with the ability to lead a team.
- Strong organisational skills, capable of planning, delegating, and prioritising tasks in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all people data and communications.
- Experience in managing a team.
- Forward-thinking with the ability to implement process improvements.
- CIPD Level 3 qualification (minimum) is required.
- Experience of using Workday is desirable.
