SRG are currently recruiting for a Process/Project Engineer to join a Global Life Science company in South Wales on a permanent, full-time basis.
The role is a broad position, where you will get exposure to running engineering projects from cradle to grave. You will interface closely with other cross-functional groups such as Operations, Facilities, Engineering, Regulatory and act as a direct liaison between these departments to ensure that projects or improvements identified are implemented in a timely fashion with full compliance to local or global documented procedures.
Skills & Experience:
- High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness with strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Experience, working on Chemical engineering-based activities.
- Management of project roadmaps.
- Good communications skills.
- Experience of process validation activities
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.
- Working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Mechanical/engineering qualification or demonstrated experience.
Qualifications/Education:
- Degree, or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline.
- Six Sigma Green Belt, or knowledge of CI techniques
- PC Skills including SAP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, CAD, Visio.
- APM/Prince 2 project management foundation (desirable).
- Experience in project management
- Familiar with IQ, OQ, PQ validation principles.
- Strong Working Knowledge of Problem-solving tools.
