Nursery Nurse

We are working with an independent childrens day nursery who are currently looking for a Nursery Nurse for their nursery setting in Richmond.

The successful candidate will ideally hold a level 2/3, NVQ, CACHE or recognised equivalent childcare qualification, you will also ideally have a minimum of 6 months nursery setting experience, being able to demonstrate a sound understanding of both the EYFS framework and key worker practices.

Nursery Nurse - Position Details

Your role will include:

  • Supporting and extending childrens learning, development and educational outcomes
  • Organising and overseeing the planning, implementation and provision of activities
  • Carrying out observations and evaluations
  • Planning and providing next steps to support childrens development

What you will need:

  • A level 2 or level 3 Nursery Nurse / Early Years Practitioners qualification or for unqualified Nursery Assistants a minimum of 12 months Early Years nursery setting experience
  • An understanding of the EYFS and key worker systems
  • An understanding of planning, observing and record-keeping procedures
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
