My client is looking for a couple of bright temporary candidates who are seeking seasonal temporary work. This role is ideal for a university student. You will be supporting a team of Event Administrators during busy periods for a global, corporate events company. This role is based in Richmond, based in office three days per week, hours 9:00 – 5:30. The duration of this role will vary from 1-week to 2-months. What You Will DoAs a temporary event administrator, you will support a team with a variety of administrative tasks to ensure successful event delivery. Responsibilities include:
  • Researching event logistics, such as times, dates, flight itineraries, and visa requirements.
  • Preparing invitation letters and building event-specific spreadsheets and databases.
  • Editing and managing content for event registration websites.
  • Mail-merging invitations and liaising with delegates regarding their attendance, travel, and accommodation.
  • Providing logistical and technical support for both face-to-face and virtual events.
  • Supporting pre-event and post-event activities, including managing materials and processing expense claims.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for delegates, delivering excellent customer service throughout.
Who You AreYou must be an enthusiastic and organised individual with a proactive mindset and a desire to learn. The ideal candidate will have:
  • Current university enrolment (or recent graduate).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • A positive and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a customer service or people-facing role is a bonus but not essential.
