  • Advise on mortgage applications.
  • Develop new business partnerships and clients.
  • Assess the financial position and credibility of mortgage applicants.
  • Refer protection requirements to the mortgage team.
  • Explain loan repayment schedules and manage loans throughout their lifespan.
  • Review and update loan files and credit documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with every client and transaction.
  • Manage and coach junior team members.
  • Assist senior leadership in strategic growth of the mortgage team.
  • Cross-refer clients to other areas of the group such as accountancy, commercial, and insurance teams.
  • Obtain and compile applicants' credit histories and financial information.
  • Ensure clients adhere to loan agreements and manage timely repayments.
  • Maintain ongoing client management.

  • Annual salary of £35,000 - OTE - £70,000k.

The ideal Senior Mortgage Adviser will have:
  • Looking for minimum 3 years’ advice experience in residential mortgages, ideally able to write over £200k per year and be confident enough to build a client base
  • CeMAP Level 3 qualification.
  • Strong understanding of FCA and MCOB regulation.
  • Working knowledge of mortgage operations with banks or lenders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Strong numerical skills for loan calculations and repayments.
  • Ability to analyse loan applications and supporting documents.
