HVAC Service Engineer
Location: Onsite as required (Covering London & Home Counties)
Salary: £43,000 - £50,000
Hours: Standard hours are 7:00 – 15:30. Engineers are paid for 10 hour days to cover travel time. No weekend work but 1 in 25 Saturday call out may be required. Overtime available but not essential, paid at 1.5x rate.

Job Profile:
The Service Engineer will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional maintenance and repair services across a range of HVAC systems. This individual will work independently on various projects, ensuring efficient equipment operation and contributing to the overall effectiveness of engineering operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on split/multi split systems, DX and CW FCUs
- Independently service VRV and VRF condensers and CRAC units
- Compile detailed dilapidation reports
- Conduct preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive repair needs
- Perform advanced fault finding and diagnostics
- Deliver accurate and timely work reports to a high standard
- Ensure all work complies with industry regulations, standards, and company policies
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of health and safety procedures

Requirements / Skills:
- Diploma in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent qualification
- Category 1 F-Gas certification or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with engineering and office-based teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
- Experience with manufacturer service software
- Understanding of HVAC data and performance metrics
- Experience with chillers, AHUs, and refrigeration systems (desirable)
