The Role:We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join our passionate teaching team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher, or an ECT, to grow their career in a supportive and collaborative setting. You will be responsible for delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring that students receive a high standard of education and nurturing a love for learning during their crucial first year of school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of pupils, identifying and addressing individual needs.
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and development.
  • Use a play-based approach to learning that fosters curiosity and creativity.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, other teachers, and staff to support each child's growth.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress.
  • Support the social, emotional, and academic development of all children, ensuring they feel safe and valued.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in an EYFS or primary school setting is desirable.
  • A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
  • Strong classroom management skills tailored to younger children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
