Our client is seeking an immediately available Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in the Rickmansworth area. This role is fully officed based,Â
Purpose of the role:
Assisting with the purchase ledger responsibilities for a fast-growing company, ensuring that invoices are processed in accordance with company procedures and paid within agreed terms Must be flexible and adaptable, willing to take on a wide range of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Registering purchase invoices.
Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders and delivery tickets.
Coding and posting of purchase invoices.
Reconciliation of supplier statements.
Resolution of queries and disputes with suppliers.
Payment of suppliers by BACS or cheque.
Other responsibilities as required, including general office duties, filing, phone support etc.
