My client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper/ Finance Assistant to oversee the financial operations of our property portfolio.
This role involves managing rental income, ensuring timely rental collection, maintaining accurate financial records, and optimizing portfolio performance.
- Lettings and Management: Ensuring rent payments are matched against rent charges in CRM Following up with tenants on unpaid rent.
- Reporting rent arrears to property manager.
- Preparing landlord statements for remittance.
- Sales and Purchase Ledgers: Processing expenses (coding, getting approval, and processing for payment). Processing sales on QuickBooks.
- Reconciling Payments and Receipts.
- Reconciling Supplier and Customer Statements.
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Microsoft Office IT skills such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams.
- Qualifications (Desired) ICB, IAB, or AAT Level 3 Qualified.
Experience: Accounting: 2 years (required)
Permanent Pay: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
