Requirements
:

  • Experience in heavy civils (ideally tunnels or viaducts, earthworks, drainage, RC structures).
  • Knowledge of MEP systems (ventilation, lighting, electrical) in major projects.
  • Main contractor experience, either in project delivery, design, or project engineering.
  • Prior experience as a project engineer ideal.
  • Experience with quality assurance and managing non-conformance reports.
  • Technical experience in design/project engineering position.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Chartered or working towards chartership.

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to work client-side alongside a joint venture on a high-speed rail project. This role will focus on closing out civil works for tunnels and transitioning into MEP installations, including ventilation, electrical systems, and fire safety equipment.

You'll oversee quality assurance for civil works and the £60 million MEP installation, ensuring compliance with standards and design requirements. The project runs until the end of 2025, with involvement in MEP work continuing into 2026.
