The below job description will outline this position of: Aftermarket Sales Manager (OEM)

Typically, this person will will be part of the Aftermarket Sales team for UK, West Europe and Africa - Within your role you will be responsible for supporting customers with the Maintenance Planning, Life Cycle Management and/or Conversions of their sailing fleet. You will have strong customer relationship skills working on a dedicated portfolio in the UK & Ireland.

Duties and responsibilities of the Aftermarket Sales Manager (OEM):

  • You will act on your own initiative to make things happen
  • Have the ability to identify commercial opportunities creating through your drive a positive impact on the business growth and profitability
  • Make an impact on your customers, convince and persuade others and promote plans and ideas successfully
  • Build a useful network of contacts and relationships and utilise it to achieve set goals
  • Demonstrate a high customer focus and motivation for new challenges
  • Demonstrate awareness and knowledge of the key competitors in the market

Key Points To Add:

  • You will: Drive Aftermarket Sales covering a wide array of OEM Maritime products and services, with support from and in close cooperation with the product sales teams
  • Strong at developing sales plans for a defined customer portfolio
  • Take ownership and manage the customer service relationship
  • You will present reports on the Sales Pipeline and Maintenance Planning
  • Strong Budgeting & Forecasting Skillset
  • Be confident at negotiating service agreements
  • Follow and contribute to continuous improvements in Aftermarket Sales processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams in Global Operations, Product Value Streams & Global Sales and Marketing (OEM) to ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications and requirement for the Aftermarket Sales Manager (OEM):

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business is preferred
  • Relevant technical background, preferably from the maritime industry.
  • Passport Holder - with the ability to travel at short notice
