If so, we're looking for someone like YOU to join our brewery as a Packaging Operative! This is your chance to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on quality beer and attention to detail.

What We're Looking For:

We need someone who has the skills and experience to hit the ground running. Please ensure your CV clearly demonstrates the following experience, as we will only be contacting candidates who meet these requirements:

  • Experience in food & drink packaging - this is essential.
  • Knowledge of cleanliness standards in packaging and surrounding areas.
  • Packaging training is preferred but not essential.
  • Chemical handling experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to problem-solve and seek help when needed.
  • A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Physically capable of handling heavy lifting as part of daily tasks.
Your Responsibilities:

As a Packaging Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our beer packaging. Your main duties will include:

  • Packaging all beers to our high-quality standards.
  • Maintaining packaging, inventory, and housekeeping paperwork.
  • Operating and maintaining packaging equipment.
  • Ensuring a detailed shift handover for smooth transitions.
  • Preparing packaging lines for maintenance and changeovers.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
  • Recording essential data on production sheets, databases, and business software.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment, tanks, and work areas to keep beer quality top-notch.
  • Collaborating well with co-workers to ensure seamless operations.
Bonus Skills:
  • A strong mechanical aptitude is a big plus.
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely.
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing work schedules as required.
  • Willingness to assist other team members as needed.
