The Role:
As a Plant Mechanic/Fitter based at the Ripon depot, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipmenthired, serviced, or repaired is clean, compliant, and safe for use. This role involves close collaboration with the hire desk to prepare equipment efficiently, ensuring we meet our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a wide range of equipment, from small electrical tools to large plant and powered access machines.
- Ensure all equipment is compliant and safe for hire.
- Communicate effectively with the hire desk and other team members.
- Be flexible and ready to support other locations as required.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance or a similar qualification.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role will also be considered.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
