Key Responsibilities:Restaurant Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of our 2 Rosette-awarded restaurant, ensuring a seamless dining experience for all guests.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
- Train, manage, and motivate a team of front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
- Manage reservations and ensure efficient table turnover.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback with professionalism and tact.
- Monitor and control inventory, ordering supplies as necessary to meet business demands.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to design and update menus, ensuring alignment with seasonal and local produce availability.
Event Coordination:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events on the estate, ranging from private dining experiences to large-scale weddings and corporate functions.
- Work closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements, providing personalized service to ensure successful event delivery.
- Liaise with various departments (e.g., kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance) to ensure all aspects of events are covered.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and profitability.
- Oversee event setup and teardown, ensuring all details are executed to the highest standards.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage the restaurants budget, including forecasting and financial planning.
- Monitor financial performance, analysing data to inform business decisions and optimize profitability.
- Implement cost control measures without compromising quality.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote special events and seasonal offerings.
- Maintain a strong online presence, including managing reviews and social media engagement.
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high-end establishment.
