We are seeking a General Manager to develop and drive forward our Visitor Centre and restaurant. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of food and service while retaining a friendly approach.
The Day-to-Day:- Manage day-to-day operations, drive revenue, and collaborate on exciting events and campaigns.
- Ensure the team provides a professional, friendly, and welcoming service to all guests.
- Train staff to deliver the standard of service appropriate and ensure excellent customer service.
- Recruit, develop, and train staff as required, including supervisory staff.
- Rota service staff ensuring a Supervisor is designated for every shift.
- Control staff costs to deliver required profitability.
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety procedures to ensure the safety of employees and guests at all times.
- Effective team leadership and motivation skills.
- Ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
- Good timekeeping skills.
- Experience in Bar/Cellar Management.
- Excellent accuracy and eye for detail.
- Proven managerial/leadership experience in hospitality.
