**Transport Planner Required**

Bennett and Game are currently working with a successful, independent Haulage company based in North Yorkshire who require a Transport Planner to join their busy traffic office.

My client provides a number of warehousing and distribution services with both UK & International coverage. They are a key member of the pallet network.

Transport Planner Position Overview

Route planning and load building to achieve maximum efficiency.
To work closely with team members planning own fleet of vehicles.
Collection and delivery of UK domestic and European bound freight.
Groupage consolidation, part loads, full loads
Customer liaison to ensure excellent service levels are maintained.
Source sub-contractors and reloads when required.
Maximise use of trailers
General administration associated to the UK operation.
Providing support/ cover where required

Transport Planner Position Requirements

Experience in load planning
Computer literacy
Flexible, the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
Quick thinking
Good communication skills

Transport Planner Position Remuneration

Salary - Circa 32K
Hours are 37.5 per week and will be between the hours of 9am and 7pm. Rota to be agreed. Occasional Saturday mornings approx. 1 in 6. Additional pay applies.
