- Support the Management Accountant with the monthly management accounts preparation.
- Assist in the creation of the budgets and take part in periodic re-forecasting.
- P&L support, ownership of various sections.
- Assist with balance sheet recs.
- Assist with cash flow.
- Journal posting including accruals and prepayments.
- Management and maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register.
- Work alongside various stakeholders within the business
- Monitor the finance inbox and manage any queries.
- Assist with and perform monthly stock counts.
- Assist with year-end audit and project work.
- Provide the team with cover for sickness and holiday.
- Ad hoc work outside the remit of the role as required.
- Degree educated or AAT study route
- Part qualification or exemptions in ACCA or CIMA
- Experience working in an Assistant Management Accountant role or similar
- Strong communication - written and verbal
- Excellent excel skills are essential, ability to confidently use vlookups and pivot tables
- A driven individual with a positive “can do” and “will do” attitude
- Ability to successfully organise and prioritise work dynamically
