With our Client Recruitment Solutions (NW) Ltd is looking to appoint a Finance Controller.

A true 'family’ business our Client has successfully traded for over 50 years and built a business with a TO of over £10m , they are now at the point of their growth that they need to appoint a Finance Controller who can work to implement and execute growth plans. You will be supported by the External Accountants initially and then continue for Year End support and review if the Business.

THE PACKAGE ON OFFER;

  • Basic Salary of £55,000 DOE
  • Annual Salary and Performance Bonus Review - this may result in a Share Holding over time

THE ROLE OF THE FINANCE CONTROLLER;

Will suit someone who has had exposure to end to end preparation of Financial and Management Accounts and has worked for Year End preparation and has experience of working with External Accountants.

You will be supported by two Finance Assistants - who have a great work ethic and approach and who are excited about the next chapter for themselves and the business.

Skills and experience needed to be suited to the Finance Controller role include;

  • Experience of Sage or Xero
  • Strong Excel skills for Reporting and Analysis
  • Experience working to a Purchase Order System to allow for better control of Costs
  • Ability to establish Budgets and communicate with Non-Finance Managers
  • Preparation of detailed Management Accounts Pack to include Profit and Loss / Balance Sheet / Fixed Assets etc.
  • Prepare Year End Accounts
  • Ad hoc Projects as the business continues to grow
