Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of Management Accountant for a one of the largest finance functions in the Manchester region. This role could suit either a CIMA/ACCA part qualified, or a fully qualified candidate who has a strong management accounting background and is keen to put their skills to use within a fast-paced finance function.
The RoleReporting into the Finance Controller, duties and responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:* Assist with the production of monthly management accounts* Quarterly budgets and reforecasting* Responsible for producing key balance sheet account reconciliations* Production of ad hoc reports for senior stakeholders* Act as a point of contact in the business to help with queries on the financial reporting and records for the portfolio of entities you are responsible fo
The CandidateTo be considered for the role we welcome applications from candidates with the following:* A proven track record of producing management accounts* Strong financial reporting skills (Forecasting / Variance analysis / Performance analysis)* Experience with Microsoft Office software particularly Excel, Word, Power Point* Outstanding problem-solving capabilities.* Ability to act on own initiative, strong problem-solver.Salary & Benefits
