Management Accountant - Rochdale


Salary: Up to 55,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)
Location: Rochdale, Fully Office based

Search is working with an international manufacturing company based in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. They are an innovative business who are looking for a Management Accountant with ambition who is looking to join their well-established company.


What You'll Be Doing:


As a key member of our Finance team, you'll play an integral role in preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and performance reports for our growing group of subsidiary companies.


Your expertise will also contribute to the development and maintenance of KPI data alongside the Finance team, while assisting with project costing for subsidiary companies. You will be responsible for supply chain reporting and supplier analysis including tracking cost savings.


You will take ownership of accurate product costings and margin of reporting. Additionally, you'll dive into supply chain reporting and supplier analysis, helping to track cost savings, as well as performing stock analysis to monitor obsolete, negative, and slow-moving stock.


In addition, you'll assist with the production of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, while also identifying and contributing to process improvements within the finance function.

Experience:

  • CIMA or ACCA - Part-Qualified, Finalist or Newly Qualified
  • Strong spreadsheet skills
  • Advanced Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Experience within the manufacturing industry is essential
  • International travel as required
  • Positive and driven attitude to work
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Essential you can reliably commute to the head office as it is a full office based role based in Rochdale.
