The businessWe are delighted to be partnering with a PE backed business on a growth trajectory located in Rochdale in the recruitment of an assistant accountant.RoleThis role will be a huge appeal to someone wanting exposure to the whole finance function. Reporting to the Financial controller duties include:

Support FC & CFO with month end reporting
Bookkeeping responsibilities of both purchase ledger and sales ledger
Monitor accrual and prepayment position with supporting variance analysis
Bank reconciliations
Calculating VAT according to operating country legislation
Mailbox monitoring and handling of queries

Person

Previous experience gained within finance
Studying – AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA
Hands on experience of supporting with month end reporting
Knowledge of multi-currency, desirable
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
