The businessWe are delighted to be partnering with a PE backed business on a growth trajectory located in Rochdale in the recruitment of an assistant accountant.RoleThis role will be a huge appeal to someone wanting exposure to the whole finance function. Reporting to the Financial controller duties include:
  • Support FC & CFO with month end reporting
  • Bookkeeping responsibilities of both purchase ledger and sales ledger
  • Monitor accrual and prepayment position with supporting variance analysis
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Calculating VAT according to operating country legislation
  • Mailbox monitoring and handling of queries
Person
  • Previous experience gained within finance
  • Studying – AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA
  • Hands on experience of supporting with month end reporting
  • Knowledge of multi-currency, desirable
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
