A leading manufacturer supplying is looking for a Quality Engineer with manufacturing experience to work at their flagship site in Heywood. The role offers excellent scope for further development and growth within a great industry. This is a progressive business, valuing investment into processes, staff, training & development across all departments.
Role Description
- Maintain calibration process, keeping data up to date and recorded effectively
- Support in measuring systems analysis and look to improve testing methods
- Carry out audits
- Process evaluation and improvement - fault root cause investigation and process controls implementation
- Analyse data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capability analysis tests
- Prepares reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising data, making recommendations
- Lean manufacturing, identify and drive continuous improvement
Skills and Qualifications
- Quality Management System Principles and Techniques
- International & British Quality Standards, ISO
- Good Manufacturing Practice
- Quality toolbox including FMEA, Process flows, Root cause investigations, Lean and Six Sigma tools & techniques
- Internal Audit experience to the relevant standards
