Dachser UK are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our transport team. Mainly 7.5T and Class 2 cover etc when required. As one of the leading suppliers of distribution services within the UK we are currently expanding our team within our Rochdale depot, offering 2 full time permanent positions Driving 7.5t and class 2 vehicles, we offer a competitive pay rate, additional bonuses and company incentives.
We are looking for a polite enthusiastic candidate with an excellent attendance and punctuality to join our Driving team at our Rochdale branch of Dachser UK.
You will perform daily multi-drop deliveries in the North West postcode areas, covering the pallet network deliveries to both Business and residential customers, you will communicate with the Fleet Manager and the Short Distance Team on a daily basis to ensure deliveries and collections run smoothly.
We believe the value of work-life balance; therefore, you will be required to work Monday to Friday, with start times from 06:00 08:00. You must have a valid, current HGV licence, a drivers CPC, ideally ADR driver certificate, a good geographical knowledge of the road networks in the North West, a good solid awareness of the law relating to driver's hours regulations and tachographs in order to be considered for this position.
Daily duties will be delivering palletised goods around the North West area approximately 16 drops and then local collections to return to our depot in Rochdale driving a modern curtain sider with tail lift and electric pump trucks.
