Description
- Lead & drive range review processes
- Research & develop market industry knowledge
- Develop and implement procurement strategies across various categories
- Manage supplier relationships to improve cost efficiency and service delivery
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure supply chain alignment with business goals
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and products
- Drive continuous improvement in the supply chain process
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure contract compliance
- Implement risk management strategies in the supply chain
- Oversee the preparation and negotiation of contracts with suppliers
Profile
A successful Category Manager should have:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a category mangement role
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain within the industrial / manufacturing industry
- Strong negotiation skills and a good understanding of contract terms and conditions
- Excellent analytical skills to assess supplier performance
- Proficient with supply chain management software
