We are currently supporting a Great Manchester Housing Association with their search for a Fire Risk Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading Fire Risk Assessment specialist responsible for conducting assessments, managing mitigation worksand maintaining compliance with Fire Safety Regulations 2022 across the housing society's properties.
  • Project manageingfire safety contractors and works, including preparing tender packages, monitoring budgets and ensuring quality standards while maintaining the "Golden Thread of information".
  • Actingas a "competent person" for fire safety, providing technical guidance and liaising with Building Control and fire engineers to develop solutions for building remediation.
  • Handlingemergency lighting and fire alarm maintenance schedules, conductingsite safety auditsand developinglife safety plans including Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) for vulnerable residents.
