Our client, based in Rochdale, is currently recruiting for a CDM and Fire Risk Surveyoron a permanent contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary range for the role is £38,000 to £40,000 a year.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for carrying out fire risk assessments, managing mitigation works and maintaining compliance with Fire Safety Regulations 2022 across the housing society's properties
  • Overseeing fire safety projects, contractors and works, which included preparing tender packages, monitoring budgets and ensuring quality standards while maintaining the "Golden Thread of information"
  • Acting as the lead for fire safety in order to provide technical guidance for staff across the organisation
  • Liaising with Building Control and Fire Engineers to develop solutions for building remediation
  • Handling emergency lighting and fire alarm maintenance schedules, conducting site safety audits and developing life safety plans including Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) for vulnerable resident
