Westwood Recruitment are looking for anexperienced AMADA Press Brake Setter Operatorto join our manufacturing client based in Rochdale. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and setting up AMADA press brake machines. You will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings, selecting the appropriate tooling, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of the finished products. Attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate AMADA press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to engineering specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical documents to determine the correct bending sequences and tooling requirements.
- Select and install the appropriate tooling, dies, and fixtures for each job.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure product quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press brake machines.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter Operator, preferably with AMADA machines.
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong knowledge of press brake tooling, setup, and operation.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning and development.
