Bradford / Wigan - commutable from Rochdale, Bury, Ramsbottom, Oldham

Are you a Contracts / Operations Manager with a background in Social Housing developments, specifically in refurbishments / repairs and maintenance looking to join a rapidly growing company where you will have autonomy over your working life and the opportunity to progress within a fast-growing company?

This well-established company work in both the Public and Private Construction sector, and have recently signed a large 4 year contract for a social housing development (6000 residential properties) in Bradford.

Due to their continued growth they are now looking for a Contracts / Operations Manager to support the lively Senior Leadership team through their continued growth.

In this varied role you will have full autonomy over your working life as you split your time out on site (Bradford) and in the Wigan office. You will work closely with the Lead Quantity Surveyor as well as the directors, supporting the project through the Contract lifecycle, including overseeing modifications and extensions, as well as securing future Contracts.

You will also manage the daily site operations including scheduling staff and booking in work, liaising with site managers as well as ensuring H&S standards are met and work is being carried out in accordance to company procedures.

This role would suit a Contracts / Operations Manager with experience in the Social Housing sector, looking for a varied and autonomous role within a well established company.

The Role:

  • Manage the Contract Lifecycle, working closely with the QS and other Senior Team members.
  • Split your time between the Wigan office / Bradford site.
  • Liaise with site managers and schedule work as well as monitoring site operations.
  • Company Van for personal use / phone / laptop will be provided.

The Person:

  • Contracts / Operations Manager.
  • Background in Social Housing Sector.
  • Experience managing refurbishments / repairs and maintenance.
  • Able to reliably commute between Wigan and Bradford.
